After my groundbreaking musical appearance on Uzbek television last week (the finest televisual representation of Blue Moon of Kentucky Tashkent has seen this year, apparently…), my showbiz pal Mike Rowe, keyboard accompanist to Sheryl Crow, Oasis, Travis and Mick Jagger among others, showed up on BBC4 last night paying tribute to synthesiser pioneer Robert Moog, who died this week, on the news programme The World.
The boy’s a natural, he’ll go far.
